Our Institutiom through these actions aims to obtain an improvement in the current teaching process, to reach the incorporation of new students to this type of projects, to raise the interest of the students in our grades, but above all, to improve the perception of our Educational Community on this Type of projects that fosters the European dimension of our students.
Especially, higher education can benefit greatly from the contributions derived from these exchanges, since we are trained in subjects that require a broad knowledge of the markets of the other European countries.
Another of the expected impacts is the improvement of the linguistic competence in foreign languages of our students, with the aim of improving their employability.
Our center already has some experience in international programs, both in the old Comenius and Erasmus +, proof of their involvement and our goal at present is to extend this to the students of Vocational Training, central to the current European economic strategy.
The Participation in the Erasmus program will have a strong impact on the modernization of our school and we would like to achieve the following objectives:
The Spanish Educational System is trying to increase the number of higher education students, reducing the early dropout and encouraging a culture of lifelong learning. This kind of training can allow the integration of skills acquired during previous work experience. The possibility of participating in the Erasmus + program offers the opportunity to learn more about the active successful experiences in other countries and to increase the quality.
Living foreing experiences related to higher education systems will build strong links between the visited countries, exposing differences and similarities of them. This will provide our school a widen vision of these other realities so these experiences would help us to improve our own practice.
The participation in mobility and cooperation programmes is fundamental in order to the exchange of new knowledge, innovation and research. The possibility of being aware of other people’s ways of working will allow the students involved will adquire other tools for developing their future work.
One of the most important aspects of our higher education system is their bounderies to the labour market. We think that carrying out these mobilities willl improve the effectiveness of our way of working and also the reality of our school, making us more efficient, encouraging our students to tackle their professional future in their country and in the other participating countries.
El IES Castelar, mediante estas acciones, pretende obtener una mejora en las enseñanzas actuales, favorecer la incorporación de nuevos compañeros a este tipo de proyectos, una mayor atracción de alumnos a nuestras enseñanzas, pero sobre todo, mejorar la percepción de nuestra Comunidad Educativa sobre este tipo de proyectos que fomenta la dimensión europea de nuestro alumnado.
Especialmente, nuestras enseñanzas superiores se pueden beneficiar notablemente de las aportaciones derivados de estos intercambios, dado que formamos en materias que requieren un amplio conocimiento de los mercados del resto de países europeos. Otro de los impactos esperados es la mejora de la competencia lingüistica en lenguas extranjeras de nuestros alumnos, con el objetivo de mejorar su empleabilidad.
Nuestro centro tiene ya cierta experiencia en programas internacionales, tanto en el antiguo Comenius como Erasmus +, prueba de su implicación y de lo que se trata ahora es de ampliar esto a los alumnos de Formación Profesional, centrales en la actual estrategia económica europea.
La participación en el programa Erasmus tendrá un fuerte impacto en la modernización de nuestra escuela y nos gustaría alcanzar los siguientes objetivos:
El Sistema Educativo Español está tratando de aumentar el número de estudiantes de educación superior, reduciendo el abandono temprano y fomentando una cultura de aprendizaje permanente. Este tipo de capacitación puede permitir la integración de las habilidades adquiridas durante la experiencia laboral previa. La posibilidad de participar en el programa Erasmus + ofrece la oportunidad de aprender más sobre las experiencias exitosas activas en otros países y aumentar la calidad del aprendizaje.
Vivir experiencias en el extranjero relacionadas con los sistemas de educación superior crearán fuertes vínculos entre los países visitados, exponiendo las diferencias y similitudes de los mismos. Esto proporcionará a nuestra escuela una visión más amplia de estas otras realidades para que estas experiencias nos ayuden a mejorar nuestra propia práctica.
La participación en programas de movilidad y cooperación es fundamental para el intercambio de nuevos conocimientos, innovación e investigación. La posibilidad de conocer las formas de trabajar de otras personas permitirá que los alumnos involucrados adquieran otras herramientas para desarrollar su trabajo futuro.
Uno de los aspectos más importantes de nuestro sistema de educación superior son sus conexiones con el mercado laboral. Pensamos que llevar a cabo estas movilidades mejorará la efectividad de nuestra forma de trabajar y la realidad de nuestra escuela, haciéndonos más eficientes, animando a nuestros estudiantes a enfrentar el futuro profesional en su país y en los otros países participantes.
The IES Castelar, aware of the importance of fostering the values of integration, tolerance and solidarity with the other members, incorporates in its actions a commitment to provide the students with a positive vision of Europe. The students at the higher levels of the Institution should be aware of the need to observe the current labor market with an open and
comprehensive vision, understanding the nearby countries as part of their future.
We want to turn our students into active agents of their own learning, so that they can develop autonomous learning and critical thinking skills, and set up their own minds to work in a collaborative manner. The students taking part in these activities will be trained to work together and they learn to feel and act as European citizens, as a single European body.
Our students traveling to the different work centers will be using several languages as a tool of communication, and will also be acquiring a basic introduction to the local customs of the countries the students are visiting, so fostering a liking of multilingualism and multiculturalism.
To achieve these goals we will develope strategies and create resources for planning, implementation, quality assurance and progress monitoring.
We have designated a project manager to assure the proper monitoring of the activities to achieve the desired impact and ensuring sustainability.
We also have, and it seems important to us, one member of the management team as member of the group, the head of study which ensures a perfect coordination and integration of all the details regarding transports, infrastructures, insurance, etc. In short, we believe that we have a varied team, very involved in the daily work with students and with proper training to achieve the goals we have set upon.
El Instituto de Educación Secundaria Castelar, consciente de la importancia de fomentar los valores de integración, tolerancia y solidaridad con el resto de los países miembros, incorpora con normalidad en sus acciones la apuesta por inculcar en los alumnos una visión positiva de Europa. El alumnado de los niveles superiores del centro debe ser consciente de la necesidad de entender el mercado laboral actual con una visión abierta e integral, entendiendo a los países cercanos como parte de su proyección de futuro.
Queremos convertir a los alumnos en agentes activos de su propio aprendizaje para que puedan desarrollar un
aprendizaje autónomo y capacidad de pensamiento crítico, y adaptar sus mentes para trabajar de forma colaborativa. Los alumnos que formen parte de estas actividades se entrenarán para trabajar en equipo y aprenderán a sentirse y actuar como ciudadanos europeos entendiendo Europa como un todo.
Los alumnos que viajen a estos centros de trabajo utilizarán diferentes idiomas como herramienta de comunicación y también adquirirán una aprendizaje básico de las tradiciones locales de esos países que visitan y fomentarán una unión de multilingüismo y multiculturalidad. Para alcanzar estos objetivos crearemos estrategias y recursos para planificar, implementar, asegurar la calidad y monitorizar los progresos.
El centro cuenta con la figura del gestor de proyecto para asegurar la adecuada monitorización de las actividades par alcanzar el impacto deseado y asegurar la sostenibilidad.
Nosotros también contamos, lo que consideramos importante, con un miembro del equipo directivo, el jefe de estudios, quien asegura una perfecta coordinación e integración de los detalles relacionados con transportes, infraestructuras, seguros, etc. Resumiendo, creemos que contamos con un equipo diverso, muy involucrado en el trabajo con los estudiantes y con el conocimiento adecuado para alcanzar los objetivos que nos hemos marcado.
